OPTIMIZATION OF CRYSTAL INPATIENT ROOM LIGHTING AT DUTA INDAH HOSPITAL NORTH JAKARTA

Abstract

A hospital is a healthcare facility that provides medical care for patients, including inpatient rooms that require optimal lighting to support patient comfort and the healing process. This study uses two methods. First, a quantitative descriptive approach by measuring light intensity at specific points using an environment meter, which is then compared with SNI standards. Second, an experimental method using Surfer 11 software for spatial data analysis, followed by lighting design simulation using DIALux evo v.13.0 and design optimization. In the final stage, 3D modeling design is carried out using SketchUp. The aim of this study is to evaluate whether the lighting in inpatient rooms meets the SNI standards and to improve artificial lighting if the intensity does not meet those standards.
