Author Guidelines

SUBMISSION RULES AND PROCEDURES

Manuscripts must be original and must not have been previously published or be under concurrent consideration elsewhere. The Journal will accept submissions in masked (blind) review format only; authors should ensure that, other than the title page, the manuscript itself contains no clues to their identities. Manuscripts written in either English or Bahasa are welcomed. A manuscript should contain between 7000 words in length. Submit your article online at https://journal.univpancasila.ac.id/index.php/jrb. If you have any queries regarding your submission to this journal, please email jurnalrisetbisnis@univpancasila.ac.id. Only papers with less than 20% similarity rate will be accepted by the Jurnal Riset Bisnis.  

Authors whose manuscript has been accepted for publication will be asked to send the final, professionally edited version of the manuscript.  While a manuscript is under consideration, be sure to inform the editor of any change in email address.

COPYRIGHT AND CONFIDENTIALITY

It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that his or her submitted works do not infringe any existing copyright. Furthermore, the author indemnifies the editors and publisher against any breach of such a warranty. Authors should obtain letters of permission to reproduce or adapt copyrighted material and enclose copies of these letters with the final version of the accepted manuscript. It is also the author’s responsibility to protect the anonymity and confidentiality of the respondents or to obtain letters of permission from the respondents if such anonymity and confidentiality are to be compromised.

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION GUIDELINES

Authors should prepare their manuscripts according to the guidelines provided in this section. Manuscripts that are not prepared according to these guidelines may be returned for revision prior to any editorial consideration.

 Typing

Manuscripts should be typed 1,5 line and Justify on only one side of the paper. The type on paper should be clear and readable. Use wide margins of at least 1 inch (2.54 cm) at the top, bottom, right, and left of every page in document format.

Title Page

The title page should contain the following information:

  • The title is written in capital letters, not more than 16 words in Indonesian or in English. typed with size 16pt, Times New Roman, Bold. Also, type the title of the paper centered at the top of this abstract page.
  • The authors’ name, affiliation, address, and E-mail address. Denote also the corresponding author.
  • The authors’ name, affiliation, address, and E-mail address will be removed before the manuscript is sent out for review.

Abstract and Keyword

All manuscripts must include an abstract of no more than 200 words (one version in English and one version in Bahasa). All manuscripts must provide up to 6 keywords and classification describing the field of study.

Figures and Tables

Figures and tables should complement the text and not duplicate it. Images should be numbered and titled following a tabular format (described below). However, the title of the table must be placed above the table while for the image, the title must be placed at the bottom. Each table must have a title (in uppercase and lowercase), centered on the table, preceded by the word Table, its number and Bold. Example: 

Table 1. Descriptive Statistics and Correlation Matrix

Source to a table should be placed below the table and explain the table as a whole should be Source by the word Note followed by a colon. 

Reference List

This journal follows the name-year system and references :

  • Reference used a maximum of the last 10 years
  • The number of references in the Bibliography is at least 20 references
  • References in the Bibliography at least 50% refer to Scientific Journals

The references is arranged alphabetically based on the alphabetical order of the author's name. Writing a references is recommended using software specifically for reference management such as Mendeley, Zetero, etc. Writing references using American Psychological Association (APA) style.

Author name requirements: the name displayed is the last name (surname) of the author followed by the abbreviation of the first (and middle) name if any. If there is more than one author, then the way of writing is the same.

Writing the reference title begins with a capital letter only at the beginning of the sentence. Each writing of the name, year, article title and so on ends with a dot (.) before continuing with the next word. For writing volume (number) journals are marked with a colon (:) without spaces. Examples of writing can be seen in the explanation of each type of library that is worthy of reference.

If the source of the library is an article in a scientific journal, it is written in the following order: author's name. year. article title. journal name. Volume (number): pages (Journal name is typed in italics). Example:

Allameh, S. M., & Rostami, N. A. (2014). Survey relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior. International Journal of Management Academy, 2(3), 1–8.

Jex, S. M. (2002). Organizational Psychology: A Scientist-Practitioner Approach. John Wiley & Sons.

Podsakoff, N. P., Podsakoff, P. M., Blume, B. D., & Whiting, S. W. (2009). Individual- and Organizational-Level Consequences of Organizational Citizenship Behaviors: A Meta-Analysis. Journal of Applied Psychology, 94(1), 122–141.
