About the Journal

"Publish or perish" is a popular expression in the academic world, describing the obligation of academics to publish their research and scientific works, as a discipline that has only recently been formally recognized in Indonesia as an independent discipline on a par with other social sciences. Tourism scientific publications are currently limited. Therefore, the Faculty of Tourism at Pancasila University was inspired to publish a journal specifically designed to serve as a platform for the publication of studies and research in the field of tourism destinations and attractions. The focus on these two areas also aims to enrich the existing collection of tourism journals in Indonesia, which currently mainly cover general tourism and hospitality. The Journal of Tourism Destination and Attraction is planned for publication twice a year, in June and December.
