PLANNING OF BANANA ISLAND AS A SUPPORT OF KRUI INTERNATIONAL SURFING TOURISM, WEST PESISIR REGENCY, LAMPUNG PROVINCE

Krui is one of the world's surfing destinations, and an international surfing event has been held, Pro Surf Krui. Not far from where the international event was held, there is a small island with its beauty called Banana Island. Because of the geographical condition of Pisang Island, it is expected that Pisang Island can be used as a supporter of Krui International Surfing tourism. Looking at the condition of Pisang Island which is a small island, the concept approach of this research is a marine and coastal tourism planning approach. The method used in this research is descriptive research method by combining qualitative analysis approach. The tools in this research use SWOT and AHP which will produce strategies and determine the priority scale. The objectives in this research examine the product and market aspects of Pisang Island, which are elaborated into physical and non-physical conditions of Pisang Island, aspects of the tourism market on Pisang Island, and development plans for sustainable tourism areas. The result of this research is a program or action plan for Pisang Island as a supporter of Krui International Surfing tourism.
