Abstract

The Jakarta International GI Endoscopy Symposium (JIGES) 2024, an annual national event organized by the Indonesian Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (PEGI) in collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (FKUI), and MTS Event Management, successfully implemented an efficient and well-structured registration process. Analysis shows that this efficiency stemmed from consistent use of the same registration system year after year, the organizing team's experience, and standardized registration form design. Despite accommodating 300 participants simultaneously, on-site re-registration proceeded smoothly due to meticulous staff preparation, an alphabetically organized data system, and the support of a responsive and informative team. Nevertheless, participant feedback indicated a need for improved visualization of registration information flow for new attendees. Overall, JIGES 2024 was successful not only in delivering the latest scientific knowledge but also in providing a seamless and satisfying registration experience for its participants.
